Flowers and nature have always been my thing. I spent most of my childhood outside catching leaves, creating dens, petal art, and running bare foot through the grass with spiders in my hair. After my Psychology degree, I started work in a wonderfully wild florist shop - to reconnect with my artistic side, and to learn the industry. I fell in love with the wedding floristry process; the friendships formed and excitement of bringing flowery visions to life. I knew I wanted to connect deeper to the journey by growing the flowers too so off I went to train in Horticulture; learning about how, why and where a flower will be happiest. And so, armed with this knowledge, and ever enthused by the wonderment of Mother Nature, I began MeadowFolk. Where floristry and flower growing go hand in hand. Where I am able to grow flowers from seed that then become part of someone’s most magical day. Where I can create bouquets to look as if they’ve just been picked from the Meadow. And where I use flowers as a pure celebration of LOVE.
